Plant Engineering Manager - – Riverside

Incredible opportunity with a rapidly growing manufacturing company! Summary of responsibilities: This senior management role will be responsible for managing the engineering and operations team to ensure maximum operating efficiency capital projects management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing the operations and engineering team to ensure maximum operating efficiency and effective capital project management.
Responsible for the continual improvement in production machinery efficiency and the maximization of plan utilization through close liaison with production management, principal machinery suppliers targeting automation. Responsible for the development of the factory and Project improvements.

Lead, motivate and develop team including technical training and develop full integration of engineering service to production.
Prepare and manage engineering and project budgets insuring effective management of external contractors, permits to work and health and safety.

Education and/or Experience:
Engineering degree
5-7 years of Operations experience
Must have electrical and PLC experience
Experience within a Food Processing plant preferably fresh produce.
